What Data We Collect and Why
Enquiries and bookings
When you contact us through the website, by email, or by phone, we collect your name, email address, and any information you provide about your event or group. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, where a booking is confirmed, to fulfil the services agreed.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (enquiries); performance of a contract (confirmed bookings).
Consent forms
For sessions involving young people, we collect the child's full name, the parent or guardian's name and signature, and the session host's name and address. This information is held on file as part of our safeguarding obligations and to confirm permission to participate.
Legal basis: Consent; legal obligation (Children First Act 2015).
Session communications
We send session recaps and updates to parents and guardians following sessions. These are routed through the parent or guardian and contain only session content — no personal data about individual participants beyond first names.
Legal basis: Performance of a contract.
Calendar bookings
If you book a call using our online calendar link, your name and email address are processed by Google Calendar. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details of how they handle your data.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest.
Children's Data
We take particular care with data relating to children and young people. We collect only the minimum data necessary. Consent forms are held securely and are not shared with any third party. Children's personal data is never used for marketing purposes.
In line with GDPR and Irish data protection law, parental or guardian consent is required before any data relating to a child under 16 is collected or processed.
How Long We Keep Your Data
| Data | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that did not result in a booking | 12 months |
| Booking and contract correspondence | 7 years (Irish statutory requirement for financial records) |
| Signed consent forms | Duration of sessions + 12 months, then securely destroyed |
| Session recap emails | Not retained by us after sending |
